I was almost at the end of the last volume of Enkidiev’s Legacy when I had emergency surgery for the gallbladder. It was during the night at the hospital that I dreamed of what was going to happen there, the vortex of An-Anshar (for those who read it) and even the series of the Knights of Antares that would follow. I saw several of his characters and also what had happened to Wellan and Nemeroff. But I was hooked up to all kinds of tubes and I had no paper or pen! So I spent the rest of the night repeating aloud to myself what I had just seen so as not to forget it.
When my mother picked me up at the hospital, the first thing I asked her was something to write about. On the way home, I made a short summary of my dream and, two days later, not only was I writing the last chapter of the Enkidiev Legacy, but I was even beginning to cut out the series of the Knights of Antares. I had no idea at the time that Wellan’s adventures were far from over.

The four kingdoms lying at the foot of the cliffs were the first to be devastated. In order to stop this invasion, the Knights of Antares were created and divided into four garrisons: the Chimeras, the Basilics, the Salamanders and the Manticores.
