What would you give to get a second chance at a different life? I wrote this novel to exorcise myself once and for all from a previous life that ended very badly, in order to give it a happier end. The same thing happens when I wake up from a nightmare. I take the time to calm down, play it back in my mind and change my behaviour. Instead of being a victim, I become a hero!
The Knights of Swords (the tarot card) is the first of our collection of unique novels, so they will not have a sequel. In fact, for now, it is the only one. But soon it will be followed by a second one, on my life in Atlantis, that one.
This novel is set in the early 20th century. Thomas McDougall is a young American adopted by Charles Mulligan, a famous Canadian medical examiner, when he married his mother. After her death, he brought Thomas back to Canada, where the boy led a dream life in Vancouver until he was twenty. Charles decides that it is high time for his son to choose a profession. Not considering that a riding teacher or library rat is part of it, he enrolled Thomas in medical school and helped him pass his exams. But Thomas is afraid of blood, so Charles entrusts him to a young researcher in the field of genetics in England.
Away from home, Thomas befriends Dr. George West, a British man whose laboratory is in London. He only returns to Canada to his father during the summer and Christmas holidays. Then one day, George tells him about the Temple Order, of which he is a member. Also wishing to save the world, Thomas becomes a soldier of the Temple in turn and submits to training that will allow him to fight the Evil. In 1955, when Thomas no longer gives any sign of life, Charles sets out to find him. He will not find either Thomas or George. The two men disappeared without a trace.
It was not until twenty-five long years of waiting for his son’s return, with his heart in pieces, to his great Vancouver mansion that Charles received a visit from a woman who would tell him about Thomas’s incredible adventure.
I want it !
Inspiration manifests itself in many ways, some decidedly more strange than others.
After writing the last volume of Enkidiev’s Heirs, I had to have my gallbladder removed in an emergency. That night, in my hospital bed, I dreamed of the series of Knights of Antares. I saw Wellan in his castle cell and Sierra watching him through the bars, then the immense hall of the high queen, the palace, the covered avenue of the fortress. Then I understood that Wellan had found himself there by falling into a vortex on the plateau of An-Anshar, at the end of volume twelve.
It was a world that looked like the early industrialization on Earth. I thought, Wellan will love this. But where was Nemeroff, who had also dived into the same vortex? My spirit instantly moved to the Deusalas, who had just rescued me in the ocean. I woke up at that moment. But I was connected to a multitude of tubes and my things were in the wardrobe at the end of my bed. So no paper! No pen! In order not to forget anything I had just seen, I kept repeating it until the morning. When my mother arrived, I immediately asked her what to write. I took notes from the back of an old envelope and, when I got home, transcribed them as detailed as I could. The Knights of Antares had just been born.
This series tells what happened to Wellan and Nemeroff after they were sucked into the Kimaati vortex. Since they had not fallen there at the same time, they found themselves at leagues from each other, in a world struggling with an invader even more formidable than man-insects, or man-scorpions, who used the sting of their long tail and the claws at the end of two of their four arms to kill the inhabitants of the villages they destroyed when entering the continent. As you can imagine, Wellan quickly joined the army of Antares to fight them. Nemeroff took longer to help them, because he was looking for a way home.

As many of you already know, especially those who read The Knights of Antares, where I mentioned it to you, I received the story of The Curse of the Dragensblöt in a dream in 2001. Luckily I woke up and took notes, because I couldn’t write it until 2018. Why? Because you asked me to follow the Emerald Knights with a lot of emails and letters, as well as during all my dedication sessions. I have therefore devoted several years to the writing of Heirs of Enkidiev and that of the Knights of Antares. Then I decided it was time to get all these ghosts out of my head before continuing the saga of the Knights.
The Curse is the story of Samuel Andersen, a talented musician who signed a bad contract with his record company. Since he can no longer play his own compositions in public and is constantly listening to other artists perform them on the radio, he falls into depression and starts drinking. His wife then asks for a divorce and prevents him from seeing his daughter. Having lost all hope of improving his situation, Samuel goes to his favorite bar and spends the little money he has left on getting drunk. When he leaves the establishment, it is to go throw himself in the Thames and end his life.
In the fog, he comes across a bailiff straight out of Charles Dickens' novels, who tells him that he has inherited the estate from his ancestor Dragensblöt. Samuel shrugs and slips the will into his jacket’s inside pocket. All he wants is to end his life. He continues his way, but instead of reaching the Thames, he arrives at an old gate at the entrance to a lane, where the letters DRAGENSBLÖT appear. He sets foot there out of curiosity and finds himself on a huge property with a castle on the horizon. When he steps back, he realizes that he is back in the alley. He therefore concludes that he is already dead and must now enter the afterlife. In reality, he has just fallen into the trap set by his Viking ancestor, a ghost who cannot leave this castle for more than a thousand years, due to a curse. To break it and free all his descendants who are imprisoned with him, he needs Samuel that the witch has not yet killed.
I’m not telling you much.
It’s up to you to find out how they will help them.

People often ask me how many novels I have written since I started publishing in 2002. At the moment, this figure is 97 writings, but only 95 published. If all goes well, by the end of 2024 I will start to approach 100, which is one of my most cherished goals.
To give you a brief overview of everything I have published so far:
13 - Emerald Knights
3 - Wilder
10 - A.N.G.E.
12 - Enkidiev’s heirs
10 - Wings of Alexanne
10 - Crystal strings
3 - Return of the Thunder Bird
12 - Knights of Antares
1 - Knights of Swords
1 - The Nerid of Olympus
7 - Curse of the Dragensblöt
7 - Legends of Ashur-Sîn
3 - Maynard Bennett

In my field, I am called the Machine, but for me, it is not a criticism. On the contrary. I was born to write, and new stories are constantly appearing in my head. They just have to come out of there!

When I talk to you in the “live” section, your questions scroll so quickly down the screen that I have trouble answering everyone. So that’s one of the reasons I’ve been talking to you from time to time. I hope you like it.
You often ask me why I wrote the Enkidiev's Legacy. Well, it’s because you’ve been asking me in tons of emails, private messages, letters, book signings, book shows and even at the grocery store and shopping malls where I was shopping!
The last one who wrote me made me give in. He was 11 years old. He said, "You can’t stop now. We don’t know what’s on the other side of the volcanoes!" He was right. As for the others who approached me, they wanted to know what their favorite characters had become after the war.
So I put aside The Curse of the Dragensblöt, which was to be my next series after the Knights of Emerald, in order to please you. But unlike these two sagas, I did not dream of the one of the Enkidiev's Legacy. I had to do it differently.
So I invited the actors of my troupe to many dinners at the restaurant and I asked them to put themselves in their character’s shoes. Then I wanted to know what they were planning to do now that peace had returned to Enkidiev. I was fortunate to have some very interesting discussions, which inspired me for the future. But the blue flower, it was my idea...
I hope you enjoy this series as much as the previous one.
See the booksAs I have so often told you, both on the occasion of my LIVE and in my little words on the official FB, I need about eight weeks to write a novel. But this was not the case with the Return of the Thunderbird.
I wrote it in the '90s, before Terra Wilder and the Emerald Knights. It was during my very esoteric period, when I was looking for answers to my existential questions. This trilogy on reincarnation required several years of writing, because I only worked there during my meditations, with the help of a guide from the afterlife, whose mission was to support me in this project. It was sometimes insecure, because it was not always there, but we managed to finish it. Since then, he has gone to help someone else and I admit that I miss him sometimes. I can’t thank him enough for teaching me to dig deeper and deeper in my research.
This very special story tells the life of Logan McEwan, a divorced man in his forties, who was content with his routine between the computer repair shop where he worked and his little apartment in Vancouver, until his life changed, when he began to make spontaneous regressions in his previous lives. With the help of Rain Taylor, a medium, and David, a being of light, Logan is thus called to return to the most important of them to understand that each has prepared him for the mission that awaits him in this life.
The greatest lesson of the Thunderbird Return is above all to understand that it is absurd to be racist, because in our other lives we have been of all races and genders, and that we have held different roles in all walks of life. Remember that nothing ever happens for nothing. A path was drawn for us before we were born. We obviously received the wonderful gift of free will. However, what we refuse to do in this life, we will have to tackle in a future incarnation. Like Logan, we must open our minds to the richness of our experiences, even if they sometimes seem incredible…

I had little idea when I wrote A.N.G.E. in 2008 that the predictions put forward by this series would begin to come true fifteen years later. But, in reality, they are not really mine, since I adapted those of Saint-Jean to our modern era.
In a few words, the series A.N.G.E. (National Agency for the Management of the Strange) tells the seven years of the Tribulations that will precede the end of the world. As I do so often, I first dreamed about this story. I saw the Montreal underground base team, their mission, their hierarchy, and their methods, but I didn’t really know what to do with it— until I was nailed home with a big flu. Lying on my couch, I turned on the TV to have some company. I was going to go back to sleep when there was a show on reptilians. I had found the Agency’s opponents.
It was only when I returned to work that I became interested in the Antichrist. So I started reading about it and I came across Revelation. This text, written thousands of years ago, was far from clear. So I decided to update it and bring in the Agency to fight evil. Completely obsessed by the terrible events described there, I even went to the island of Patmos, in Greece, in the cave where Saint John would have written these texts. Then I methodically followed the order of the disasters that were announced and updated them. Fortunately I like research!
For your information, 80% of the information contained in the 10 volumes of A.N.G.E. comes directly from sacred texts. The other 20% are reptilians. But that doesn’t mean they don’t exist—
I don’t know if you’ve noticed it, but lately, the warning signs of the end of the world have begun to appear. Above all, do not panic, once we have passed through these calamities, a thousand years of bliss await us.
I have received tons of emails from those who have read the series, as I mention a pandemic that will affect every country in the world and, above all, a vaccine that will be graciously offered by the Antichrist and that will contain a microchip allowing him to know where each person is on Earth. So my readers were worried about getting vaccinated against COVID. I told them that since the Antichrist had not yet manifested, there could not be fleas in these vaccines. I have also received messages about several other predictions, such as water and fire, and I expect many more.
All this to wish you an excellent reading, if it is not already done.
