When I was eight years old, my aunt started reading The Knights of Emerald to me. It was my first fantasy book. Every time I saw her, she would read me a few chapters — it was my favorite moment. I fell in love both with the story and the genre. As I grew older, I ended up devouring them one after another. Within a month, I had read The Knights of Emerald and The Heirs of Enkidiev in their entirety. Then, I read the A.N.G.E series, which I also loved. Anne’s books helped me discover a part of myself. Each story transported me far from reality, which has now become my comfort zone.
Thank you — I will never say it enough, thank you ❤️
With all my love,
Sara
My mother, who is now 75, was the one who introduced my sister and me to The Knights of Emerald.
She owns the entire collection of the Knights! As for me, I’ll have to reread them all since there are now many more volumes! I absolutely loved The Curse of the Dragensblöt! Again, thanks to my mom, who devours every single book Anne writes!
Right now, I'm reading The Maynard Bennett Investigations!
I’m going to try to follow in my mother’s footsteps and keep devouring these stories with my eyes, all while feeding my imagination and knowledge in the hopes of satisfying my hunger for travel—by letting myself be absorbed in the immense imagination and love of adventure of the GREATEST WRITER IN QUÉBEC!
One day, we hope to see Anne in Rimouski!
Thank you for taking us along the path of your dreams!

My love for The Knights of Emerald is directly tied to my mother. When she noticed that I was beginning to enjoy reading, she suggested I try the series. I didn’t read it at the time—it felt like there were just too many volumes.
A few years later, my mother became ill. She spent several months in the hospital, and by then, we already knew she wouldn’t make it through the year.
In December 2011, I had just turned 15. I was sitting in a chair next to my mother (who was bedridden by then), and my eyes landed on her bookshelf—more specifically, on The Knights of Emerald. That’s when I began reading the series. I read it all the time at home, and even at school (which got me into trouble with my teachers more than once).
I read the series to escape the slow reality of watching my mother slip away. And it worked. I must have finished it in less than two weeks.
Today, I’m 28, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read that series. For a long time, it was my refuge.
And today, I can say that The Knights of Emerald was one of the last gifts my mother gave me.
Thank you for everything 🩵

I don’t even know where to begin. Anne’s books—especially The Knights of Emerald—came into my life during one of the most pivotal moments. My teenage years were shaped by their values. For a long time, I would even ask Theandras for advice before falling asleep, and wonder how Kira would have handled this or that situation. Because yes, Kira was my favorite character—well, she still is, along with Onyx.
I would love nothing more than to experience another banquet like those from 10–15 years ago! Being able to meet the characters during different events—my God, it was incredible! I remember one of the last banquets where Abnar was performing magic tricks—I was absolutely amazed! And the very first banquet I attended on Île Sainte-Hélène… WOW! I deepened old friendships through her universe, and new ones were born too. Honestly, I even wanted to name my children after one of the characters—especially Kira for my daughter—but my partner wasn’t a fan.
Anyway, like most teens, I went through some rough patches, and The Knights of Emerald truly had a positive impact on the rest of my adolescence. When I look back on that time, Anne’s world is the very first thing that comes to mind.
Okay, this message is a bit all over the place, and I’m sorry for that. What really matters is this: it’s the values and characters of Enkidiev that shaped the woman I’ve become today. And for that, I’ll be forever grateful.
Thank you, Anne, for allowing us to step so deeply into your world.
I hope our paths cross again someday 😊💜

I usually read one book per week. I always look forward to the release of your books. They allow me to escape and clear my mind.
To keep it short, I’m a forever parent—that is, I have a daughter with a severe intellectual disability who requires much of my time. She lets me read. When I’m reading, I become a spectator. Thanks to your vivid descriptions, my mind plays the images like a movie. In doing so, I release all my stress and forget the mental load.
Since I read a lot, I borrow books from my local library—which has all of yours. I hope to meet you someday at a book fair, though it hasn’t happened yet due to my schedule. I should probably check if I’ve reached your 100th book by now—haha—just to make sure I’m up to date!
Thank you again—your imagination is essential.

I'm 27 years old and have over 300 books in my personal library. If I caught the reading bug and developed such a deep love for books, it's CLEARLY thanks to Anne.
I’ve read, reread, and reread The Knights of Emerald way too many times to count. I still remember the pure joy I felt when I found out there was a sequel with The Heirs of Enkidiev. I was in high school, and the librarian would set the books aside for me so I could be the first to read each one, knowing just how passionate I was! What a joy it was to grow up with you and with this world! Today, these books are part of my personal collection, and I still enjoy reading them just as much!
Thank you, Anne, for giving me this passion. It’s an expensive one—but oh, so essential!
All the best,

I am a reader of The Knights of Emerald, The Wings of Alexanne, and The Heirs of Enkidiev. I haven’t yet had the chance to travel to the other universes, which are surely just as breathtaking, created by our great author—the most wonderful of my generation. In high school, these books allowed me to travel to a world where I could play out every scene in my imagination; they really helped me get through difficult times.
Today, they have helped me grow both internally and morally. I have learned that no matter the obstacles in life, it’s important to stay resilient every day. With that, I wish you many more wonderful years to keep amazing us with the best stories.

During my second pregnancy, I had to stay bedridden for a good part of it due to drops in blood pressure. For someone like me who gets bored quickly… it was hell!!! I had already read the first volume of The Knights of Emerald, which I loved. However, not having had time to read the rest before, I thought the knights would keep me good company during those long months!
Indeed, I was not wrong. And so I set off with the knights on their adventures! They kept me busy for quite a while. Then I continued with the Wings of Alexanne books, devoured in just one week!!! A series of books that I really enjoyed and found captivating. Soon, I will finish The Heirs of Enkidiev and start A.N.G.E, of which I received the first four volumes as a Christmas gift. I can’t wait to dive into new adventures.
Finally, Anne is the only author who captivated me so much, who made me feel like I was living alongside her characters, that I cried at Wellan’s death. It’s the first book that made me cry and that I had trouble recovering from. Now, I am slowly passing on my passion for her works to my children.
I wish Anne to still have the energy, inspiration, desire, and time to share new thrilling adventures full of emotions with us, through different worlds that are, deep down, not so different after all!
See you soon in new adventures, take care, kisses from a reader in the Breton countryside 😘
Congratulations Anne 🥳
Without hesitation, the series The Curse of the Dragensblöt transported me. I had wonderful dreams where I too set out to meet my ancestors, but in a slightly different way, equally exciting. It took place in my dad’s house, where there were parts of the attic where ghosts lived… So, I almost wonder if there might be a bit of truth in these very interesting dreams.
It might be worth looking into…

It was in 2007, with the release of the first volume of my favorite saga The Knights of Emerald, that I began reading Anne Robillard’s works. A year earlier, I had lost my father; I was only 17. I became an unwavering support for my family, and although the following year was not easy, it was by immersing myself in reading that first volume that I found the strength and positivity necessary to keep moving forward. Each volume over the years made me feel alive and experience incredible adventures. My eyes sparkled, overwhelmed as much by tears at sad moments as by the smiles born from amusing ones. Anne Robillard’s writing has always been a pleasure to read and also made me live through various adventures with Wellan, Bridget, and all the others. I also read the Terra Wilder stories, which I loved! Once again, a joy spent devouring these books. If one day I have the chance to meet Anne Robillard in person, I would love to thank her for everything she has brought me through her works, sometimes during difficult moments in my life. So, Anne Robillard, please keep sharing your passion with us — your readers will always follow you. Warm regards, Ludovic from Belgium
I started reading The Knights of Emerald during a very difficult time in my life. The world of Enkidiev allowed me to escape, and since then, I have read almost all of her novels.
I can never thank you enough for your wonderful stories that I love so much.
